総織部陶片を解説しています。
轆轤にて整形後、鉄筆にて胎土を陰刻して文様を描きだしています。
乾燥後に織部釉薬を全体に施した後に焼成。
鉄筆にて陰刻した部分には、分厚く釉薬が溜ることにより文様が描きだされています。
珍しい総織部陰刻の作品。

Explains Sou Oribe pottery fragments.
After shaping it on a potter's wheel, the pattern is drawn by inscribing the clay with an iron brush.
After drying, Oribe glaze is applied to the entire piece and then fired.
The pattern is created by a thick layer of glaze on the parts inscribed with an iron brush.
A rare piece of Oribe inkoku.
